Chapter 39: Restaurant...
Felicia added, "And... is it true you have an ice affinity now?"
Amelia took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. "Yeah, it's true. I guess I got a new affinity," she said, attempting to downplay the significance. "But don't reveal this to the world. Father won't be happy if you do."
Elara and Felicia exchanged glances, their surprise evident. Both sisters then looked at Leon, their gazes lingering a little longer than appropriate. There was a hint of lustful curiosity in their eyes, but they quickly masked it with polite smiles before walking away.
Leon smiled inwardly. Unlike Amelia, he sensed their hidden lust but decided to ignore it for now. He would deal with them accordingly when the time came.
Felicia was blonde haired and Elara was blak haired like Amelia, Elara was a bit tall, the same height as Leon while Felicia was a few centimeters shorter than Elara. Amelia was taller than Felicia but shorter than Elara. She has the perfect height!
Elara carried some kind of unique grace in each and every of her actions, Leon's plans for Elara we're extreme. As for Felicia, she had a bit of wild personality, which she always tries to contain due to her being a noble, Leon's plan for her, with her personality might be a little more easier for her process than Elara, but the times will be fun, fun times indeed.
Leon's grin increased as the image of him going through with his plan with these two in his mind, his dick, which was still extremely hard and unsatisfied despite his session with Amelia twitched.
Finally, Amelia broke the silence, her voice softer now. "I'm sorry about that. They can be... a bit much sometimes."
Leon smiled, his eyes warm. "It's alright. Family can be complicated."
Feeling more at ease, Amelia led Leon through the winding streets, her steps growing lighter.
He followed Amelia as she led him along, her previous embarrassment slowly melting away. Her expression grew cheerful, filled with great expectations for the romantic meal awaiting them.
The restaurant stood grandly at the end of the lane, its signboard elegantly carved with swirling script.
When they reached the restaurant, Leon was impressed by its grandeur. The signboard read "Appetizing Chalice,". The building was constructed of dark, polished wood and adorned with intricate carvings of mythical creatures, giving it an air of elegance and nobility.
"This is Appetizing Chalice," Amelia introduced. "It's one of the finest restaurants in the estate and a favorite among the nobility that visits, lives and spend sometime in my father's estate."
Leon responded with a nod of appreciation. "It indeed looks magnificent."
'While it doesn't compare to top, well furnished house on earth, it's indeed good for a medieval world, it looks amazingly inviting as it is.'
As they entered, the usher greeted them with a warm smile. "Welcome, Lady Amelia and S-sir Leon," she said, her gaze lingering on Leon for a few seconds longer than it should.
'He's even more handsome than the rumors say. Too bad he's beyond my reach,' The attendant thought.
Leon noticed the attendant's gaze but didn't dwell on her. She was just a random attendant he happened to encounter in this restaurant, someone he knew nothing about and considered insignificant. She worth nothing in his eyes, Her figure were only above average, Her appearance was average, neither strikingly beautiful nor unattractive.
He completely ignored her, the attendant's heart was broken after seeing seeing his reaction, she couldn't help but want to slap herself so badly while would she dare try to cheat on Lady Amelia with Leon! She's crazy, it was as if something demonic had came over her! Whispering lewd thoughts to her mind...
The usher led them to a secluded room, its walls lined with elegant tapestries and the table set with fine silverware. There a table for two awaited them. After they were seated, she handed them a list of the restaurant's offerings, filled with delicacies.
Amelia's eyes lit up as she spotted the best option on the list. 'They rarely cook it since it costs so much. For them to have it ready, they must have been expecting me.'
Amelia was right. After hearing of her and Leon meeting up with the Viscount, the shopkeeper had anticipated their visit. The shopkeeper's intuition had paid off, even if she hadn't heard about the blizzard due to the Viscount's strict orders keeping the incident under wraps.
The shopkeeper didn't know about the blizzard because the Viscount made sure his servant kept it quiet. The Viscount had a lot of power, and the servants knew keeping this secret was crucial for their own well-being and insignificant lives to continue.
As for how the servant warned by the Viscount managed to spread the word without anyone noticing, well, experienced servants like them have their ways. It's only the newbies who tend to get caught when they try to bend the rules.
Amelia pointed to the top dish on the menu. "The Phoenix Flame Roast. It's the best dish here. You'll love it," she said, her voice filled with excitement.
Leon returned her smile. He took the menu and observed it
